Compounded formulations are not FDA-approved. The FDA-approved uses shown are those of the non-compounded, commercially manufactured versions of each active ingredient. We make no claim that any medication treats, cures, or prevents any disease. A licensed physician determines whether any prescription is appropriate and safe for you based on your individual health information and your informed consent. GetMyIVM makes no claims regarding any non-FDA-approved use.

Dr. Shawn Rowland, MD
Supervising Physician · GetMyIVM
GetMyIVM is built around a simple idea: people deserve access to a licensed physician who will review their full history and have a careful, individualized conversation about whether a prescription is appropriate for them.
Every case is reviewed by a licensed physician. A doctor determines whether a medication is appropriate and safe for you.
Technology handles the logistics — intake, scheduling, secure communication — so physicians can focus on clinical decisions and your care over time.
“Competent adults have the right to consider options for their own bodies, including options outside the standard protocol. Our responsibility as physicians is to make sure that choice is informed, monitored, and honest about what the evidence does and does not show. An informed patient is not a threat to good medicine. An informed patient is the point of it.”
If you're looking for a clear process and access to a licensed physician for individualized, physician-directed care, we'd be glad to help.
Common questions
Straight answers about how care works, what we can prescribe, and how we keep your information safe.
Yes. Every case is reviewed by a licensed physician. A doctor reviews your health history and determines whether a medication is appropriate and safe for you.
Compounded ivermectin (12 mg capsules), a combined ivermectin + mebendazole capsule (25 mg / 250 mg), compounded mebendazole (250 mg capsules), and hydroxychloroquine (200 mg tablets). Whether any of these is appropriate for you is decided solely by a licensed physician after reviewing your individual history.
We make no claim that any medication treats, cures, or prevents any disease. Each medication has specific FDA-approved uses, which we list factually on its product page; compounded preparations themselves are not FDA-approved. Any decision about whether a medication is appropriate for you is made solely by a licensed physician after reviewing your individual information and discussing the risks, benefits, and alternatives with you.
No. GetMyIVM does not recommend or promote any medication for any particular non-FDA-approved use. We facilitate access to a licensed physician. Any decision about whether a medication is appropriate for you is made solely by the independent licensed physician after reviewing your individual information and discussing the available evidence, risks, benefits, and alternatives with you.
Professional societies publish guidance that physicians may consider. Ultimately, prescribing decisions rest with the licensed physician in the context of the individual patient relationship and informed consent. We make no claims that override or contradict any professional guidance.
If a prescription doesn't make clinical sense for you, the physician will explain why. The decision is always based on your individual health information.
Yes. You always have the right to have any prescription sent to a pharmacy of your choice — tell your physician during your review or message support, and we will transmit it there. Our partner pharmacy is the default because most of our medications are compounded preparations that must be prepared by a compounding pharmacy equipped to make them, and our all-in price includes that fulfillment. If you choose an outside pharmacy, you are not charged for medication fulfillment through our platform and you pay your chosen pharmacy directly.
No. When you check out, you authorize your payment method, but the charge is captured only after a licensed physician reviews your case and approves your prescription. If the physician determines a prescription is not appropriate for you, you are not charged. If review takes longer than your card issuer's authorization window, we securely save your payment method with our payment processor and charge it only when a physician approves, for the amount shown at checkout. Once a compounded medication has been dispensed it cannot be returned; if an order cannot be fulfilled after you have been charged, we refund that order. Full details are in our Terms of Service.
You complete an intake questionnaire, a licensed physician reviews your information, and — if appropriate — a prescription is sent to a licensed pharmacy and shipped discreetly to you. Secure messaging keeps you connected to your care team.

Most U.S. states. We do not currently offer services in Alabama, Alaska, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Jersey, New Mexico, or Washington. Some states require a brief live audio (phone) or video visit before prescribing — you pick a time, and your physician calls you or connects by secure video, depending on your state. The per-state requirements are listed on our Jurisdictions page. Start your intake to check availability in your state.
Most reviews are completed within 4 hours. If your state requires a live audio or video visit, you'll pick a time for it after intake.
